I am 5'4" 148lbs. I chose the medium based on sites measurements/recommendations. A large may have offered more comfort in the chest and neck only. I found when the zipper was fully pulled up, the fabric seemed to pull down on my neck and chest. (I suspect the torso length could have been about a 1/2inch longer for me) Otherwise fit was fine. Would recommend for any costume event. Its a show stopper. Everyone loved!
